Dispogel is a water-soluble, colorless, clear, intraurethrally applied lubricant gel that is easy to apply with one hand, in 6 ml and 11 ml sterile syringes. Dispogel provides ideal association with tissue-compatible medical instruments, reduces friction between the catheter and urethra mucosa, minimizes the risk of trauma to the urethra wall, and facilitates catheterization up to the bladder.
For proper use, 6 ml in women and 11 ml in men injector gels are sufficient.
Product usage
Dispogel contains antiseptic 0.05% Chlorhexidine Digluconate to reduce the risk of infection, and local anesthetic 2% Lidocaine Hydrochloride to prevent pain in men and women.
After applying Dispogel, anesthetic substance Lidocaine Hydrochloride should be left for 5-10 minutes to take effect and then catheter or other medical instruments should be applied to the urethra.
The antiseptic Chlorhexidine Digluconate it contains is effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Syringes are for single use only, if the full contents are not used, the syringe and the remaining gel should be discarded.
