Endovasions (Pty) Ltd. was incorporated in January 2010 for the purpose of entering the medical device and pharmaceutical industry, with particular focus on the medical supplies industry. The name was changed to Engineers & Doctors in July of 2015 due to confusion created by a competitor company with a similar name. After substantial market research the director of the Company decided to initially focus his attention on the medical supplies industry and formed Engineers & Doctors for this specific purpose.  Engineers & Doctors, then implemented its strategic plan to capture market share in this industry.

Engineers & Doctors initially focused solely on supplying products to the urology sector of the market, more specifically on the endoscopic side of the urology sector.  Over the past 13 years Engineers & Doctors has developed substantially and has become a specialist in this area competing more than favourably with the major multinational market leaders and capturing significant market share.

In 2013, Engineers & Doctors decided to broaden its scope of supply to the pharmaceutical sector of the market to provide additional services to the current customer base. Engineers & Doctors is the owner of a pharmaceutical product that prevents kidney stones.

The vision of the Company is to become a leading medical supply company in South Africa and to become the significant player in the industry through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions of entrepreneurially owned and managed companies.
